Up to £50,000 DOE The Cambian Group is the UK’s largest provider of specialist behavioural and mental health services for children and young adults. Our services focus on individuals with high severity needs, including specialist education schools and colleges, residential care homes, and therapeutic fostering services. We are looking for a Registered Manager to work in an Ofsted registered children’s home at Cambian Whinfell School in Kendal, Cumbria. Whinfell School provides both home and school for students aged 11-19 with Asperger’s Syndrome (high functioning Autism) and Complex Needs, helping them gain valuable life skills and confidence. The successful candidate will: Provide strong leadership to a team of assistant managers and support workers. Ensure a safe and happy home environment for children and young people. Demonstrate a highly developed awareness of safeguarding and the challenges associated with complex difficulties. Apply principles of care management and maintain high organizational standards. Your excellent people skills will: Provide inspirational leadership to the staff team. Offer compassionate support to our children, young people, and staff. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Develop strong working relationships with professionals for the best outcomes for children. Provide support to families. Essential Requirements: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (Children).
