Overview: We are seeking a strong Manager who has strong knowledge and previous experience working with Ofsted, dedicated to supporting children with complex Learning Difficulties. This role requires strong leadership abilities, in-depth Ofsted knowledge, and a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive environment for young residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the home adheres to Ofsted standards and provides high-quality, child-centered care. Compliance & Quality Standards:

Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks, with a focus on meeting and exceeding Ofsted inspection requirements. Staff Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of residential care workers, providing support, development, and training to uphold high standards of care. Safeguarding & Child Protection:

Implement and monitor safeguarding policies to create a secure, nurturing environment for all residents. Individualized Care Planning:

Develop, review, and update comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person. Financial Oversight:

Manage the budget effectively, ensuring the home remains financially sustainable and efficient.

Essential Requirements: Level 5 in Residential Childcare:

Completion of the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Ofsted-Regulated Experience:

Previous experience in a registered childcare setting with working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and standards. Leadership Experience:

Proven track record in a leadership role within a residential childcare environment, specifically with children with EBD. Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong report writing abilities.
