£45,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience Leader Group have partnered with an amazing organisation seeking an experienced Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Team Leader ready to step up into a Registered Manager role for a brand-new children's residential home in
Orpington . This is a
3-bed
home supporting children and young people aged
8-17
with
EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)
and
mild Learning Disabilities . About the home: 1st home
of its kind with a strong and supportive team already in place, including an RI, DM, and support staff. RI
comes from a consultancy service provider, ensuring high-quality standards and guidance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations
of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. Lead, mentor, and support staff , including the Deputy Manager and Support Workers, fostering a positive team culture. Ensure compliance
with Ofsted regulations and standards, striving for a Good or Outstanding rating. Develop and implement care plans
tailored to each child's needs, focusing on promoting their emotional, physical, and social development. Manage budgets and resources
effectively, ensuring financial stability of the home. Work closely with the
Director , who is a qualified General Practice Nurse, and the
Responsible Individual
(RI) from a consultancy service provider. Build strong relationships
with external agencies, social workers, and families to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care. Take
responsibility for the home's registration
with Ofsted and ensure that all policies, procedures, and paperwork are up to date. Requirements: Level 5 Diploma
in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it). At least
2 years of management experience
in a children's residential setting (Deputy Manager or Team Leader experience will be considered). A proven track record of achieving
Good or Outstanding
Ofsted ratings. Strong leadership skills
with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Knowledge of
Ofsted regulations
and
Children's Home Regulations
2015, including the Quality Standards. Passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people. Excellent communication
