Northamptonshire About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Parenting Assessment Centre in Northamptonshire. This is a critical role in safeguarding children and providing high-quality assessments to families. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management:

Lead, motivate, and supervise a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and therapists. Ensure the effective recruitment, training, and development of all staff. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing support and mentorship. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Clinical Oversight:

Oversee the delivery of high-quality assessments, including risk assessments, psychological evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. Ensure all assessments are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and best practice guidelines. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all assessments and interventions. Collaborate with external agencies, including local authorities, courts, and other professionals involved in the child protection system.

Operational Management:

Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the assessment center, including budget management, resource allocation, and quality assurance. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements. Represent the organization at relevant meetings and conferences.

Essential Skills and Experience: Qualifications:

Essential: Relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, MSW) Highly desirable: Relevant management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management)

Experience:

Proven experience in managing and leading teams within a child protection setting. Extensive knowledge and experience of child protection legislation, procedures, and best practice. Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong leadership, mentorship, and supervisory skills.
