Registered Manager - £70k - Blackburn Job Title: Registered Manager - 64 Bedded Care Home Location: Blackburn Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Depending on Experience) Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our 64-bedded care home. The ideal candidate will have outstanding clinical knowledge (even if they are non-nursing) and a proven track record in management, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with CQC experience and a passion for leading a team in a person-centered environment. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for all residents. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, working to ensure that the home consistently meets or exceeds standards in all areas. Lead, mentor, and support a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, providing guidance and professional development to foster a positive, high-performance culture. Take responsibility for ensuring the care home is financially sustainable, with effective budget management and resource allocation. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring that they are person-centered and regularly reviewed. Manage admissions, assessments, and ensure the smooth transition of new residents into the home. Maintain strong relationships with families, external agencies, and health professionals to promote effective care coordination. Ensure staff are trained, developed, and compliant with current legislation, including safeguarding and infection control protocols. Monitor and drive continuous improvement through regular audits and quality assessments. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting (CQC experience is essential). Strong clinical knowledge and experience, with either a nursing qualification or significant experience managing clinical services in a care home environment (non-nursing applicants will be considered if they demonstrate exceptional clinical knowledge). A track record of successfully managing teams and operations in a care home environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Sound understanding of CQC regulations, quality assurance, and safeguarding procedures. The ability to manage finances, budgets, and operational costs effectively. A passion for providing high-quality, person-centered care to vulnerable individuals. A commitment to staff development and creating a positive, supportive working environment. Benefits:
