As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team in providing outstanding care. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the residential care team. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's residential home. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of care professionals. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Individualized Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident. Work closely with external agencies and professionals to support the well-being of the children. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided. Implement continuous improvement initiatives. Budgetary Oversight: Manage the budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and stakeholders. Collaborate with external partners to enhance the overall support network. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Proven track record of achieving and maintaining high Ofsted ratings. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks. Personal Attributes: Passionate about providing exceptional care for children and young people. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous improvement.
