Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager within a Residential Home to work full-time based in Swindon. The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £50,000 per annum. Main Duties: As the Children’s Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for children. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the homes, manage a dedicated team of support staff and foster positive relationships with children, families and professionals. Your leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences and outcomes of the children in our care. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operation of the children’s residential home according to the standards set by OFSTED/CQC. Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding and welfare for all children. Foster a positive working environment through training and supervision. Inspire, lead and manage a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to promote professional development and ensure the highest level of care for our children. Develop and implement personalised care plans that meet the children's individual needs. Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals for comprehensive care. Maintain all necessary records and documentation in compliance with regulations and company policies. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and take action to achieve continuous improvement. Attend regular meetings and always represent the organisation. Requirements and Must-Haves: Relevant social care qualification, ideally a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Ofsted/CQC registration. Proven experience managing EBD homes or similar settings. Previously been a manager or a deputy looking to step up. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including OFSTED standards and legislation relating to children’s care. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively. A solid commitment to promote the well-being and development of children.
