We are looking for a Registered Manager (Registered Nurse), to join us at our service Clareville Lodge based in Caterham. Clareville Lodge is a supported living care service providing intensive person-centred care and support to all our tenants. Situated in Caterham, Surrey we work closely with all of our tenants to further their independent living skills and enhance their quality of life through a holistic approach to care. As the Clinically qualified Registered Service Manager, you display compassionate leadership and astute operational management. You are the driving force behind the provision of exemplary care services, offering both oversight and a personal touch to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our residents and staff. Your role is pivotal in fostering an environment of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will oversee the complete management and evolution of the site, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of healthcare compliance. With a meticulous eye for detail, you will ensure the most appropriate use of resources, maintaining a balance between quality care and operational efficiency. What you'll be working: We're flexible, so you'll work a total of 40 hours per week: Working 5 days a week 40 hours per week Monday to Friday *** This is a Nurse qualified post *** What you'll be doing: Your responsibilities include maintaining compliance with all regulatory bodies, including a crucial partnership with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), upholding our commitment to excellence as the face and voice of our establishment. As the Registered Manager, your leadership will inspire a culture of respect, dignity, and integrity, positioning our care home as a beacon of trust and exceptional care in the community. Provide visionary leadership and effective supervision to the Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, and care staff. Implement and maintain robust Local Integrated Governance protocols. Direct the recruitment, daily supervision, and overall management of staff. Drive full bed occupancy with strategic marketing and effective processing of referrals. Oversee the protection and safeguarding of all residents. Lead the professional development of staff. Ensure the production and submission of clinical and managerial reports are of high quality. Respond to regulatory body enquiries and reports. Maintain a culture of confidentiality and privacy in accordance with company policies. What you'll have: Clinical qualification essential with current NMC Pin registration (REGISTERED NURSE) A legal right to work in the UK In-depth knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding principles, and the regulatory landscape. Proven leadership skills with experience in guiding a multidisciplinary team. Autonomous in decision-making with a strong initiative. A patient-centred approach to care with robust negotiation skills. Exceptional analytical abilities with experience in clinical data interpretation. Agile and proactive in updating care practices. Superior organisational and time management skills. Influential communication skills. Strong commercial awareness. A versatile and adaptive demeanour. Experience of the health and care sector. Experience of working in a matrix organisation. Previous experience leading a team and management. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
