Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Supported Living Service and Domiciliary Service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of care management, particularly in the areas of Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Medication Administration. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents. Duties Lead and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring effective delivery of care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Manage daily operations of the service, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with Service users, family and other healthcare and social care professionals. Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols. Foster positive relationships with service users, families, and external stakeholders to enhance engagement. Conduct regular assessments of service users needs and satisfaction, making adjustments to services as necessary. Ensure all documentation is accurately maintained in accordance with legal requirements and organisational policies. Requirements Proven experience in a managerial role within Supported Living and or Domiciliary service setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Have a proven management background. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with service users, families, and team members. Be an experienced learning disabilities or mental health practitioner ideally with Positive Behaviour Support training and experience. A commitment to providing high-quality care and improving Service User's outcomes through innovative approaches. Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Be prepared to register with the CQC and ensure adherence to the CQC regulations. Have a minimum of three years' experience working with individuals with Learning disabilities or mental health and or autism. Have a relevant care qualification (such as RMN/Dip SW, degree or NVQ Level 5). Have experience of supervising and supporting staff. Have the knowledge and skills to ensure safe management and administration of medication. The Opportunity As a Registered Manager you will report to the Director and be responsible for: Operational management of the Service. Development, supervision and performance management of staff. Responding to referrals and undertaking initial assessments of need. Producing plans of support ensuring there are clear goals and expected outcomes for service users. Co-ordinating person-centered reviews. Working closely with local multi-disciplinary teams and community-based agencies. Maintaining high standards of environmental, safety and quality. Providing a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. Facilitating service user engagement, involvement and peer support. Keeping up to date with legislation and ensuring staff are appropriately experienced and trained for their roles. Job Types:
