Are you?

A driven and dynamic Nurse? An experienced RMN wanting to work with flexibility to balance your lifestyle? Wanting to make a difference to someone’s life? Ready for a new challenge? Wanting to work with the best nurses in the UK?

About the role: As well as providing outstanding treatment and care, we aim to deliver a service that’s empowering for our patients. One in which we can support them in maximising the quality of their life in the least restrictive manner possible. So when you join our multi-disciplinary team, you’ll work together to develop personalised, recovery-focused programmes and care pathways. Playing a vital leadership role on the ward, you’ll also use your expertise and ideas to help us continually evolve best practice and set new standards both within the Priory Group and across the profession.

What we’d like from you: While you’ll be RMN qualified and NMC registered, we’ll be looking for a range of qualities that go beyond your qualifications and technical ability. Whether you are currently working elsewhere or returning to practice, you’ll be patient centric with a commitment to delivering high quality care. Finely tuned decision-making skills, communication skills and organisational capacity are a must, while your flexibility and can-do attitude will enable our patients to build on their existing strengths and feel positive about their lives.

The friendly team at Priory Hospital Southampton has received an OUTSTANDING CQC rating in the Caring inspection area and is rated GOOD overall. The report stated that the "staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected the privacy and dignity and understood the individual needs of patients”, it also noted that across the hospital, “the service was well-led and the governance processes ensured that ward procedures ran smoothly.”

About us As one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services to adults and young people, Priory Group promise a challenging and fulfilling career with the support of a world class organisation willing to invest in your development.

Across our network of hospitals, residential care homes, education facilities and supported living services, we are making a real and lasting difference to the lives of the people we support.

Priory maintains that vaccination remains our very best line of defence against COVID-19 and believes that our colleagues working with vulnerable individuals have a professional duty to be vaccinated. As part of our wider infection control efforts, and to meet our commissioner and customer requirements, we continue to record vaccination status for all colleagues and we therefore request that you disclose this information as part of your application. Your vaccination status will not affect any offer of employment and will be held in line with GDPR requirements. We thank you for your understanding.
