Registered Nurse and Authorised Vaccinator Christchurch City Closing date: 19 January 2025 Reference: 1091091 Apply Now Registered Nurse / Authorised Vaccinator – Casual Multiple opportunities available We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse / Authorised Vaccinator to join our team on a casual contract. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include: Flu vaccinations to well adults during the vaccination season Wellness checks in the workplace or in MedPro clinics Travel to workplaces within the Christchurch area There are no set hours for this role. We work with your available dates and our demand for work and pre-plan 2 - 4 weeks ahead. There is also opportunity for last-minute cover as and when they become available. Please note our Flu Season days (April - June) can vary from 8 - 10 hours long due to the need of going to the office, packing your chilly, travelling to the workplace, setting up, providing the service, packing down, and travelling back to the office to unpack your chilly bin. The successful candidates will be provided with in-house training for all our services. Requirements: You will enjoy working autonomously and within a wider team in Christchurch You will need to be flexible, friendly, and self-motivated IT capability is a must Own car & driver’s license is essential due to the nature of the role Currently an Authorised Vaccinator OR Primary care or vaccination experience is an advantage. You will need to complete the vaccinator courses yourself. We may be able to assist you with the required clinical assessment to be signed off. Please go to IMAC website for more details.
