We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to work on the Nurse Bank in our four hospitals and within the community setting of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire.

Main duties of the job

Candidates with experience in Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, SCBU, ENT, Critical Care, Emergency Nursing, Theatres, School Nursing, Health Visiting and Community Nursing are invited to apply as there are opportunities to work in all these areas. Recent acute experience and up to date skills is desirable. We also have opportunities for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Wards and are looking for flexible, motivated and enthusiastic Qualified 1st level Registered Mental Health & Learning Disabilities nurses to work in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. You will be employed in the inpatient wards of Acute / Older Adult / Learning Disabilities mental health care. Successful candidates should have a flexible approach to work, have good communication skills, be a team worker and have the ability to work on his/her initiative.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential Current NMC Registration

Desirable Degree in Nursing Evidence of post registration study and training eg POVA Evidence of post registration study and training eg Child Protection Intermediate life support if required in clinical setting

Experience

Essential Pre-registration evidence in direct nursing care Experience of providing holistic nursing care Interest in developing nursing skills

Desirable Clear understanding of clinical governance framework Implement evidence based practice

Language Skills

Desirable Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
