An exciting new job opportunity has become available for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.
This care home provides care and rehabilitation to young and old service users. It is a spacious, elegant eighteenth-century building converted to provide residential and nursing care for long and short-term needs.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As a Nurse your key duties include:
Driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including observation, medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
Ensuring policies and standards meet our high clinical standards and offering clinical guidance to the whole care team, assisting with all CQC tasks.
Forging real connections with our residents and their families, providing the kindness and support they deserve.
Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programs for colleagues and other care professionals.
Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for each of our residents.
Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Ability to lead a team of care staff.
Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
A team player who engages well with others.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
Understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of up to £21.88 per hour, with an annual salary of up to £50,061.44. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
