About the Role Gold Coast Private Hospital Day Surgery Unit Recovery is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Unit on a part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided. As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Deliver evidence-based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs About Us Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336-bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialties include, but are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. Minimum Requirements: Current Registration with AHPRA Minimum 1-2 years acute hospital experience (surgical/perioperative experience preferred) Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Post-graduate qualification (or working towards) Commitment to quality patient care Works independently and within a team Exceptional time management and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Why Healthscope?
