Job Overview The Spinney Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, administering medications, and providing high-quality care to ensure the well-being of our residents. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor residents' progress and respond promptly to any changes in their condition. Educate residents and their families about health management and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice in all interactions. Experience A valid nursing qualification and registration with the relevant nursing authority. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
