Registered Nurse Resthaven – Stroud 1 x Day Nurse 36 hours With all breaks paid and annual NMC pin paid. We are looking for a part-time Registered Nurse (Days) to join our existing teams of amazing nurses and carers at Resthaven Nursing Home based in Stroud. Lilian Faithfull Care is a well-established charity based in Gloucestershire that provides care, support, and a home for life for the elderly. The successful applicant will work with the care team, supporting and leading the team whilst on shift, reporting to the Home Manager. With proven leadership skills, and a strong understanding of dementia and the legislative framework surrounding the care of older people. Applicants need to have a current active UK nurse’s pin. Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse: Assist the Senior Team in the clinical aspects of running the home and in the provision and delivery of day-to-day care. Provide the highest standards of quality care and dignity in accordance with the Charity’s policies and CQC whilst meeting our residents' needs. Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding, ensuring dignity and respect for the resident at all times. Help and encourage residents to undertake these tasks for themselves as appropriate. Requirements: A caring individual who is compassionate about providing care and support to the elderly. A genuine interest in working within a caring environment to help people retain their dignity and respect their privacy. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Works well in a team.
