An exciting opportunity has risen for a responsive, motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Team within our newly expanded Emergency Department at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and proactive individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to be part of a developing team.

We are extremely proud of both our local and national reputation for delivering consistently high standard of clinical care which we believe, in part, is due to the focus on the training and development that we offer to our staff. We offer an excellent development programme and you will be supported and guided by our Sister Nursing Team and Clinical Educators. You will be able to learn and expand on existing skills including, basic and advanced plastering, wound care, venepuncture and cannulation, triage and the care of the critically ill patient.

You will need to be qualifying within the next 6 months and ideally you should have some experience within Urgent Emergency Care. To help you settle in you will be offered a 4-6 week induction period.

Full and part time hours are available.

Main duties of the job

Your role will include working within the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality care for the patients who attend the Emergency Department. You will work in all areas of the department including Majors, Minors, Resus, Triage and within the RAT area and the Children and Young People's Emergency Department.
