Key Responsibilities Deliver and oversee the highest possible standards of person-centred care. Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans. Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift. Build and market the positive reputation of the business; communicate warmly and professionally with all visitors. Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge. Participate in all inspection visits from RQIA, Trust’s and CCG’s. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines. Follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice. Promote a cohesive team approach. Support the Home Manager in achieving key targets. Promote and practice high standards of nursing care. Participate in the delivery of all aspects of resident care. Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code. Attend relevant meetings and regular team meetings. Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner. What You Will Need Required Criteria: NMC Registered Nurse Numerate and literate with effective communication skills. Ability to use IT and communication systems. Ability to develop internal and external business relationships. Ability to work under pressure whilst motivating their team. Desired Criteria: Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector. People Management experience. Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes.
