We have been supporting our whānau me hapori to achieve their aspirations and general wellbeing for more than 39 years. Underpinning our success as an organisation are our values Kotahitanga, Whakamana, Kaitiakitanga and Whanaungataunga, which are woven through everything we do. Our Oranga Hinengaro team is a cornerstone of this service, providing mental health support grounded in kaupapa Māori values. We approach our work with aroha and compassion, walking alongside tangata whaiora and their whānau on their journey to wellness. We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses, one in Central Hawkes Bay and one in Hastings, who are committed to making a real difference in the lives of those we serve. What You’ll Do As part of our community-based team, you will: Conduct thorough assessments, adapting treatment approaches to meet the individual needs of tangata whaiora and whānau. Use your clinical skills to anticipate challenges, identify early signs of concern, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Support tangata whaiora and whānau in navigating the impact of mental health conditions and integrating recovery strategies into their everyday lives. Take the lead in interventions, monitoring their effectiveness, and managing any potential side effects or complications. Build therapeutic, compassionate relationships that empower tangata whaiora to actively engage in their treatment. Skills & Experience
