Listed 6 days Ago With our Home Care Support Service - Te Oranga Tautiaki continuing to grow we are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our existing Nurse team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of our kaupapa Māori Homecare service that delivers high quality home care support with aroha and manaakitanga throughout Heretaunga, Ahuriri and Wairoa. About Us Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is a whānau-focused, Iwi mandated, kaupapa Māori health and social services organisation. We have been supporting our whānau me hapori to achieve their aspirations and general wellbeing for more than 39 years. Underpinning our success as an organisation are our values Kotahitanga, Whakamana, Kaitiakitanga and Whanaungataunga, which are woven through everything we do. The Role You will be completing initial assessments for whānau in their home, clinical reviews and supporting our team of professional home care support Kaimahi with advice and knowledge. You will be someone who can easily establish rapport with whānau from all walks of life, live and breathe our values with Te Ao Māori worldview. This is a part-time role, Monday to Friday, 20 hours a week during normal business hours plus on call cover every third week and monthly day trip to Waiora to visit our Kaimahi and clients. What we are looking for: A current Nurses Practising Certificate Experience and knowledge of Community Nursing and/or Aged Care Live locally and know our community Excellent clinical assessment skills with a knowledge of the interRAI suite of assessment tools and the clinical application of case mix Experience in providing direction and delegation of care to a non-regulated workforce and can work with autonomy in the community Cultural awareness of tikanga and Te Ao Māori Good computer and reporting skills A Full and current Driver’s license What we offer you : A competitive salary, 5 weeks annual leave, Southern Cross Health Insurance, Life insurance, Birthday leave, Career opportunities, Wellness activities and incentives and loads of other benefits If you have skills, qualifications and experience we are looking for and are excited by this opportunity, then APPLY TODAY!
