What you will be responsible for: Take the lead and assist other staff in assessing service users' needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans and interventions designed to meet service users' individual needs (in accordance with the model in use in the particular service area) and enable them to exercise choice over their own lives. Actively involve service users in developing and agreeing their own care plans and act as an advocate for users of the service, ensuring that there is proper regard for their dignity, choice, self-esteem, racial, cultural, sexual, and religious needs and preferences. Ensure that risks are managed effectively and that an appropriate balance is achieved between risk and the benefit to the service user. Act as the Named Nurse and take responsibility for planning and providing care to a defined group of service users within the service and for communicating with other professionals, agencies, relatives, and carers where that is appropriate, having due regard for issues of confidentiality. All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of: Statement of NMC Registration Degree/Diploma in Nursing Disclosure and Barring Service Check
