Part time
Please note for Welsh students, you must apply via Streamlining where all available jobs can be located.

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic staff nurses to join our dynamic and proactive team on Morfa Ward, Ysbyty Alltwen. The ward is a 20 bedded nurse led ward with GP support. Patients admitted to the ward require rehabilitation post acute illness, injury or post-operative surgery patients. We also admit patients directly from the local community when there is no need for admission into secondary care.

Main duties of the job Our patients often require complex discharge planning including the completion of long term assessments. We also provide IV therapies to patients from the local community to reduce travelling time and the need to stay in acute beds, but the primary focus is on patient rehabilitation and discharge planning to ensure a safe discharge. Full and part time hours are available.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
