Carlingford Lodge Care Home is situated in the beautiful port town of Warrenpoint, located at the head of Carlingford Lough, just five miles south from the city of Newry. It provides nursing care for 58 residents over 3 Units: General Nursing, Dementia Nursing and a General Residential. The Home Manager welcomes the residents with her team of professional nurses and carers aided by an administrator and ancillary support from housekeeping, catering and maintenance personnel. The Role

The role of a Registered Nurse in our services is a key position in our mission to provide excellent and inclusive care. The Registered Nurse is a leadership role, playing a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high-quality and person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver excellent care to our residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will support the management of shifts, ensuring the safety of all residents and our team. The role of Registered Nurse is always evolving, and having a commitment to personal and professional development will ensure that you are able to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families. Main Responsibilities

Delivering person-centred care to each resident Assess and monitor the physical health of residents within care plans To offer support and supervise all care staff or new recruits Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care Complying with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager The Benefits
