Do you have a passion for rehabilitation and a desire to improve the patient's rehabilitation journey?

We are looking for Registered Nurses who want to deliver high standards of compassionate care.

We can offer you the opportunity to work with a fantastic team and to enhance both your assessment skills and discharge planning knowledge whilst looking after patients with multiple co-morbidities. You will be part of an established supportive nursing team and work as part of our wider multi-disciplinary team.

If you would like to hear more, we welcome both telephone enquiries and informal visits.

Night working contracts will be considered, and we would welcome this to be discussed with us. There will be an expectation to rotate onto day shift periodically.

You are welcome to come and meet the team at an informal visit. Please ring Emma Gallagher, Ward Manager, to arrange or if you require any further info at 01579 373522.

Key Responsibilities:

The assessment of care needs and the development and implementation of programmes of care in the ward setting. To be a team leader and provide all forms of nursing care without direct supervision. To provide mentorship to pre and post-registration students and Healthcare Assistants undertaking the National Vocational Awards.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

We are a people organisation and people matter to us. As part of the team, you’ll help support the health and wellbeing of the people who live and visit this beautiful part of the UK.

Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.

We work in people’s homes, in community clinics and bases. Some staff work from one of our 13 community hospitals. Our aspiration is to have great people, provide great care, be a great place to work and a great partner.

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays, lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
