Job Title: Staff Nurse (RMN)

Location: Preston

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

Hours: 48 hours per week (Days and Night Shifts Available)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RMN) to join our team in Preston. The successful candidate will possess strong skills in managing mental health conditions, rehabilitation, and eating disorders. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, ensuring their physical and mental health needs are met. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Monitor and assess patients' progress, noting any changes in their condition and adjusting care plans as necessary. Support patients in their rehabilitation journey, encouraging and assisting them in achieving their recovery goals. Provide specialized care for patients with eating disorders, including monitoring nutritional intake and addressing related health issues. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and complies with regulatory standards. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care delivery. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health nursing.

Qualifications and Skills: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification. Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration. Proven experience working with patients with mental health conditions, rehabilitation needs, and eating disorders. Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of mental health nursing practices. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts.
