This role would be ideal for nurses with a medical background who have a passion for acute medicine. The service operates a twelve-hour day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
You will work collaboratively with the senior team in SDEC to deliver effective, high-quality, safe patient-centered care while following the mission and vision of EHNT.
We will support you in your continuing education, training, and professional development to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge, ensuring that nursing staff acquire and maintain the professional standards and competencies when caring for people.
To participate as a member of the nursing team in providing a high standard of research-based care and to provide support to the team of staff working in the area to deliver a quality service linked to high standards of patient care.
To facilitate early discharge planning to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place.
