An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Urology Unit as a part-time Band 5 Staff Nurse at Royal Gwent Hospital.

The Urology unit diagnoses, treats, and supports patients through their urology journey. There are many nurse-led clinics, so no day is ever the same!

There are numerous opportunities for progression with Clinical Nurse Specialists and Advanced Nurse Practitioners in all areas of urology nursing.

Main duties of the job

The Urology Outpatients Unit provides quality care to patients requiring outpatient interventional urology treatment and diagnostics, both consultant and nurse-led. The unit provides an excellent induction program that includes all areas within the specialties.

The successful candidate needs to be hardworking, caring, and have excellent communication skills. Previous urology experience is desired.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
