We are recruiting a Report Development Lead on behalf of one of our clients in the public sector. The Performance and Intelligence team is critical for the collection and analysis of statistics across Social Care and Education. As the Report Development Lead, you will make a difference by working closely with colleagues to co-ordinate and implement best in class improvements across the Children’s Social Care service area, using your strategic and technical skills to implement improvements.

Responsibilities

You will be working under the management of the Performance Manager for Social Care and liaising with key stakeholders across the Children’s Social Care service to define and develop reports using our in-house MSSQL and PowerBI tools.

You will use your strategic and technical knowledge while working closely with Performance Managers and Operational colleagues to define operational report requirements, implement reports and dashboards, and enhance existing reports.

You will identify operational benchmarks and add value and insight to our performance reports.

You will support the business and enhance our suite of reports, helping implement best practice, identifying performance trends, and supporting the implementation of enhancements across our main Social Care systems and processes.

Skills & Knowledge & Education

We require you to be educated to degree standard, preferably one with statistical or significant numerical and/or computing content, or with substantial experience in a similar role.

You will have working experience of developing performance reporting in a complex environment, including effective engagement with users and senior managers ideally in local government or a Health setting.

You must also have significant knowledge in operational reports and performance indicators in large and complex environments.

You must have extensive knowledge of MSSQL and PowerBI.

You will have well-developed communication skills and credibility to be able to effectively bridge the communications gaps between end users of our reports and the technical roles which meet them.

Social Care experience and knowledge is advantageous.

Experience of Social Care systems (Mosaic) is advantageous.

This placement can be worked at home with may be a couple of days in the office (i.e., to collect IT equipment and induction).
