An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Home Manager to manage an exceptional nursing home based in the Oxford area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This home provides a wide range of care, including residential care, dementia care, nursing care, palliative, and respite care.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure high standards of service delivery within a quality assurance framework by ensuring that the highest level of nursing and residential care standards are maintained at all times through the quality assurance cycle. Ensure that the care home complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing, maintaining, and monitoring procedures and maintaining awareness of major developments and legislation within the sector. Manage the recruitment, performance, and development of quality staff to ensure that skilled staff are available to meet the needs of the service, ensuring compliance with all HR and L&D policy requirements. Ensure economic viability by assisting in setting, monitoring, and controlling budgets to maximize income and achieve value for money, including identifying new business opportunities and exceeding occupancy. Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and plans to enable the care home to achieve its business objectives. Promote the aims and interests of the business with external organizations by marketing and promoting the business to external agencies and within the wider community. Actively maintain the company's external reputation through effective partnership working with external stakeholders. Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programs in support of the Group's objectives.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a residential setting, along with strong operational management experience. Ability in budget preparation and control. Experience of directly managing staff. Excellent understanding of written and spoken English. Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to clients whatever their needs. Able to interrogate and extract data from computer systems.

The successful Home Manager will receive an amazing salary of GBP62,352.80 - GBP72,352.80 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
