The Role: As a Veterinary Nurse, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing top-notch care to patients while assisting veterinarians during clinical procedures. You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities, from monitoring patients pre- and post-surgery to supporting emergency cases in a rota system designed with work-life balance in mind. What makes this role special? A full-time position with a 4-day work week option for better work-life balance. 2 weeknights and 2 split weekends in an 11-week rota with TOIL included. A commitment to your professional growth with a generous CPD allowance and the chance to become a clinical coach. What You’ll Do: Assist vets during examinations, surgeries, and treatments. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and record patient health and behaviour. Educate pet owners about treatment plans and aftercare. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clinic cleanliness. Support and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment. What We’re Looking For: RCVS registered. Strong laboratory and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. A compassionate, calm approach to animal care. Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
