Are you an RVN looking to work within a thriving, forward-thinking practice? Our client delivers the very highest standards of modern veterinary care to pets, horses, and farm animals, with several practices across Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RVN to join their fantastic team at their RCVS accredited Veterinary Hospital.

Their multi-discipline hospital is open 24/7, 365 days a year and boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including CT, dental x-ray, and an in-house laboratory. The large team of animal lovers comprises 28 nurses and nursing assistants, including certificate holders and specialists, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment to help you settle into your new role. Our client actively encourages professional growth and fulfilment, offering generous funding for CPD to help you achieve your career aspirations. They take immense pride in the care they provide and in their dedicated team.

This is a full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance, with a rota consisting of a 40-hour week covering four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. The schedule includes approximately one in six weekends and bank holidays with time off in lieu, with some shifts being half days. There is no night shift work, as a dedicated nights team is in place to provide round-the-clock care.

Working within this small animal hospital, which also has a high exotic caseload, offers a diverse and engaging experience. You will rotate through theatre, ward, nurse clinics, and dispensing/admitting/discharge shifts, ensuring variety in your day-to-day responsibilities. The team enjoys a strong sense of camaraderie with regular team-building activities, social events, and even a star of the month bonus to recognise and celebrate exceptional contributions.

The Package:
