About us ASL Vets is an independent small animal practice that provides exceptional care for our clients and an amazing professional, friendly work environment for our staff. Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals Perform routine procedures such as blood draws, Schedule 3 procedures, etc. Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and monitoring anesthesia Maintain cleanliness and organization of veterinary equipment and supplies Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration Assist with the handling and restraint of animals during examinations and procedures Perform laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood work Experience:

Previous experience working as a veterinary nurse or veterinary technician is preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary team members Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and medication administration Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and experience requirements.
