If you are an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a warm and friendly team, then we would love to hear from you at Gravesend Vets for Pets. We're a locally owned practice with the support of a larger organisation, and our clients love us, and we think you will too!

About us Our great location means we benefit from having over 2000 active patients, of which 20% are on a health care plan, meaning we see a wide variety of cases on a weekly basis. We are located on the Imperial Retail Park in Gravesend, within walking distance of the high-speed link into London, and have ample parking onsite.

Our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, and we have state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, Ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities. We also have some leading visiting specialists in Orthopaedics, diagnostic imaging, and cardiology, to name a few, that visit and work alongside us with our more complex cases.

We are supportive of individual interests, so if you have a particular area of interest, this could be the practice for you!

You will be joining our team of 3 vets, 5 qualified nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses, 3 receptionists, a Practice Administrator, and a Practice Manager. We are a close-knit team and always look out for each other!

About you and the role To join us, you'll be proactive and enthusiastic, with solid all-round skills. You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure high-standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You'll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
