• Embrace a hands-on nursing role where you'll utilise and expand your skills daily, from blood sampling to advanced surgical support, in a thriving and independent Oxford practice! • Join a well-equipped facility featuring state-of-the-art technology, including a class 4 laser, multi-parameter monitors, and an in-house lab, ensuring you have the tools to excel. • Be part of a dynamic, supportive team of 15 RVNs and enjoy a varied caseload that keeps every day exciting and enhances your professional growth. • Enjoy a competitive salary starting from £28,000, along with a generous benefits package, in a practice that values and invests in its staff's development and well-being.

Join a dynamic, independent small animal practice in Oxford as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and become part of a supportive and growing team dedicated to delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated nurse with at least one year of UK-based experience, a strong communicator, and a diligent team player. A driving license and IT literacy are essential for this role.

At this practice, nurses are empowered to utilise their full range of skills daily, including schedule 3 procedures such as blood sampling, intubation, and IV catheter placement. Nurses engage in a variety of clinical duties, from running nurse clinics and managing internal medicine cases to participating in emergency care and surgical nursing, including anaesthesia. The practice is well-equipped with advanced tools such as a class 4 laser, multi-parameter monitors, Doppler blood pressure machines, EPOC, and an ECG machine, along with laparoscopic equipment when needed.

The practice boasts two operating theatres, a dedicated dental room, a diagnostic suite, and separate dog and cat wards, providing an optimal environment for high-quality care. The in-house laboratory offers comprehensive training opportunities for RVNs to expand their knowledge and skills in lab work. With a varied caseload that includes routine procedures, emergencies, and high-dependency inpatients, the role demands the ability to multitask and respond calmly and efficiently to urgent situations.

Join a friendly and well-established team of 15 RVNs, 4 student nurses, and 5 assistants, all committed to providing the very best care. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and professional development!
