We are looking for our new team member and want to invite an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us!

Our close, united team would like to find that ideal person to join our fun, balanced environment. At Leicester Central Vet for Pets, we want our nurses to feel valued and well, Nurse!! From phlebotomy to Lab analysis to schedule 3.

The Position:

9 to 12 Month Maternity Cover 32 hours a week ranging from 8:30am- 7pm over 4 days. Competitive salary up to £22,400. Equally shared mix of early and late shifts of 8:30am-4.30pm or 11am-7pm. Currently No weekends but potential for 1 in 4 as we are also expanding our vet team. NO OOH. RCVS fees paid and opportunity to become member of BVNA. Duties shared equally with a great mix of theatre, prep, recovery, inpatient care, and Nurse consults. 28 days Annual leave incl. Bank holidays which are shared. Very flexible team who support each other. Generous CPD budget to support further development and Qualifications an RVN may want to pursue. CPD days to also accommodate. Confident RVN with a passion for small animals and exotics! Potential to be a clinical coach to educate and encourage new students.

A proactive nurse and do what we are trained to do and have support from our vets. Can keep the standard of the profession through the highs and the lows. Happy to get stuck in and thrives on those busy days. Enjoys meeting clients (even the challenging ones!), building relationships with them and getting to know them and their pets. You are kind, honest and trustworthy and willing to be an integral part of our work family.

About Us: The practice is company-owned with clinical and non-clinical support from the group. Allowing focus to be on colleague work-life balance and not profit. We are a VN Training practice, ISFM silver status, going for dog friendly practice status next. Strive to serve our clients through the good and the bad offering a supportive approachable practice. The team have fun while we work and even strive to have lunches together for a catch-up and organise out of work activities together. Set in the heart of Leicester with an abundance of shops, cultural diversity, and places to eat! (Takeaways ordered a lot!)
