Newport, Gwent Job Type: Full Time We have a really exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a wonderful, forward-thinking practice near Newport. The role is a permanent position, working full-time hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-6:45pm across 5 days with no weekend commitments or OOHs! Giving you a unique and great work/life balance. The newly refurbished practice has a range of modern equipment, including X-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, lab machines, and multiparameter machines. They also have a dedicated dental room, an x-ray & ultrasound imaging room, a double theatre, separate kennels, and cattery areas. There are 4 consult rooms, one being a dedicated nurse consulting room. The lovely team is made up of 4 Vets, two of whom are very experienced and are the practice Clinical Directors, they have 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses who are led by an experienced and strong Head Nurse and 1 experienced Veterinary Care Assistant. The clinical team are then supported by 4 dedicated Receptionists, 1 dedicated administration assistant and an experienced and friendly Practice Manager. You will receive: A brilliant salary up to £30,000 per annum 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays Increasing holiday allowance based on length of service Your birthday as a paid day off Enhanced family-friendly policies, including maternity/paternity/adoption/shared parental and surrogacy pay
