Abbey Vets, Paisley is looking for a proactive and compassionate RVN to join our dedicated and caring team. We are a well-established, friendly, mixed practice with surgeries in Paisley and Greenock. You will be joining a large, supportive network of vets, nurses, ACAs and receptionists. We aim to provide excellent first opinion care to our patients, and a great service to our loyal, long-standing clients. Duties are based on a rota system consisting of: Caring for both medical and surgical patients post-op Assisting vets in both theatre and prep area Ordering and stock control of pharmacy Caring for isolation patients Nurse consults and lab work Personal growth is actively encouraged and we would welcome candidates looking to do further qualifications. Our wider practice facilities include fully equipped lab with the latest haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and therapeutic monitoring, ultrasound scanner, digital radiography, including dental x-ray machine, endoscope and the latest dental machine, instruments and equipment. We also have the opportunity to attend equine visits and assist with x-rays. Bordering Glasgow city, the historic town of Paisley is situated north of the Gleniffer Braes Country Park with expansive countryside, coastal towns and pretty beaches all close at hand. There are great transport links including an international airport right on our doorstep. The salary is a starting wage and will vary depending on experience and skills. No on-call duties and 1 in 4 weekends.
