Easipetcare, Dartford is a large and modern practice with 3 consult rooms; a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room; a large modern theatre and prep room.
Our friendly team consists of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 Head Veterinary Nurse, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 1 Animal Nursing Assistant who are supported by our wonderfully efficient Receptionists.
This is a unique opportunity to join a super friendly team in an ideal location that is easily commutable from London.
What will the role involve?
Our Registered Veterinary Nurses are the absolute backbone of our practice, and generally have a hand in most areas of the day to day which include carrying out schedule 3 procedures (subject to appropriate training), anaesthesia monitoring, scrubbing in, looking after our inpatient care, carrying out various types of nurse clinics, completing laboratory duties and much more! There will also be some reception duties when needed such as: taking telephone calls/inpatient enquiries, stock control and ordering and unpacking orders. The Rota
We try to keep things interesting/varied here at Easipetcare, so our Registered Veterinary Nurses typically work full time, 40 hours per week, across 4/5 days, consisting of either an early shift (8:00am to 4:30pm) or a late (11:00am to 7:30pm). Our Nurses also work 1 in 3 Saturdays and in turn receive time off in lieu the following week and there is no OOH. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance.
