Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal - FTC
We are looking for a dedicated RVN to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will run nurse clinics, have operating days, care for inpatients, and have regular communication with clients. We hope to find a nurse who is passionate about animal and client care as well as wanting to be part of a team. We are seeking an RVN who has experience in all aspects of GP small animal nursing. Barton Lodge is a long-established small animal practice situated in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. We are a short walking distance from the town centre that offers a variety of facilities close at hand, and also close to a lovely park for relaxation. Hemel Hempstead is only 30 minutes away by train from London, and 15 minutes from Luton airport. We are a single-site practice, and all our rooms are air-conditioned. We have access to several good referral centres although many complex cases are managed at the clinic, including orthopaedics. Our up-to-date facilities include a dedicated operating theatre, 3 consulting rooms, a large prep area, separate dog/cat wards, an imaging/dental area with digital X-ray facilities (standard and dental), MyLab 25 Gold E-SAOTE ultrasound scanner, extensive in-house lab, ECG, and tonometer. Our friendly team comprises of 4.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 2 Receptionists, and 1 Office Staff.
