About the role and who we are looking for

Our Woodley clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. Duties will include nurse consults, anaesthesia, inpatient care, lab work, and schedule 3 procedures (with training). We are looking for someone who would be excited to get involved with a clinic refresh and rebrand; this is a real opportunity to have influence and be involved with this exciting project. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. The full-time position is typically 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week with a combination of early shifts from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and late shifts from 11:00 am – 7:30 pm. It also involves 1:4 Saturday mornings, and there is no OOH. We value our Nurses and recognize the integral part they play within our teams, which is why we offer flexible working hours. It is a first-opinion, SA practice and we are conveniently situated in the bustling high street of Woodley with good public transport links. Our facility is large and modern with 3 large consult rooms, a dedicated digital x-ray and ultrasound room, a modern theatre, prep room with tub table, separate cat and dog kennels, an in-house lab, patient monitoring equipment such as a multiparameter and blood pressure machine, drip pumps, baer huggers, and fluid warmers. Our practice is a 4 Vet team including 2 experienced Vets supported by the Nursing team and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and an Animal Nursing Assistant who is also an animal physiotherapist. The clinical team is supported by our reception team of 4 and experienced Practice Manager and Area Director who is also a vet. Our Head Vet is currently working towards securing a surgery certificate. Our team is passionate about providing gold-standard care to our clients and their pets, and we have a strong ethos of teamwork and communication. The team is also supported by a local Veterinary hospital with overnight care that also provides training opportunities for the team. Because our people matter
