Key Duties Assisting veterinary surgeons in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures. Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care. Preparing patients and equipment for surgery, and providing post-operative nursing at weekends and occasional weekdays, depending on the branch. Performing a variety of procedures alongside the vet team, including Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue surgery, and Acupuncture. Adapting to various branch environments and working effectively with visiting Specialists in Orthopaedics and Cardiology. Package and Benefits Salary between £26,000 - £30,000 DOE 25 days holiday plus bank holiday and birthday leave Membership fees paid (VDS & RCVS) Generous CPD and certificate support Staff discount schemes Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements Registered on the RCVS as a registered veterinary nurse Eligible to work in the United Kingdom Strong interpersonal skills Capable of taking sole charge Strong customer service skills Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
