Companion Care Vets Winchester is a well-established and busy practice of seventeen years. We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and handle a high volume of medical and surgical cases. We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated registered veterinary nurse to become part of our dynamic and friendly team. Whether you are newly qualified or have more experience in your nursing career, we offer a supportive environment with a diverse range of clinical cases. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in our established practice.
In this rewarding full-time position, you will join a team consisting of four veterinarians, five registered veterinary nurses (RVNs), and two student veterinary nurses (SVNs).
The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with no out-of-hours work. However, you will need to participate in the weekend rota, which is currently 1 in 3.

Well-organised with exceptional attention to hygiene and cleanliness. Calm under pressure. Clinical coach to support our Student Veterinary Nurses. Able to use initiative and work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team. Maintains a focused Continuous Professional Development (CPD) record. Communicates effectively across all areas and functions well as part of a team. Enjoys a varied nursing workload, which includes, but is not limited to, conducting nurse clinics/consultations, monitoring during anesthesia, and providing inpatient care. Thrives on client interaction. Provides excellent care for both patients and clients. Supports pet owners with compassion and professionalism.
