The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a dynamic and forward-thinking practice. This role offers the chance to work across first-opinion and referral cases, encompassing medical, surgical, advanced diagnostics, and rehabilitation. You'll be part of a team that prioritises exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment. The position is based at a state-of-the-art branch clinic with a welcoming, home-like atmosphere, complemented by opportunities to work across sister sites equipped with cutting-edge facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering exceptional nursing care across a variety of medical and surgical cases. Participating in advanced diagnostic imaging and patient rehabilitation. Contributing to inpatient care during the day and providing occasional emergency support during weekends and bank holidays. Collaborating with a close-knit team to uphold the highest standards of care and service.
Working Hours and Rota
4-day week, 10-hour shifts: Options include 7:30am-6:30pm, 8:00am-7:00pm, or 8:30am-7:30pm. 1-hour lunch break each day. Equal rota for daytime inpatient care and occasional weekend or bank holiday shifts (2 days off in lieu for any weekend work). No routine out-of-hours work; emergency backup support only as a last resort (rarely required).
What We're Looking For
A qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with RCVS registration. A valid UK driving licence. A commitment to teamwork, empathy, and delivering outstanding care. A strong alignment with the practice's core values: humility, respect, empathy, honesty, teamwork, and work ethic.
