The role is offering a salary of £72,000 per annum(Dependant on experience/full time equivalent).
Summary:
We are a large and dynamic team of 14 vets, including surgical and medical certificate holders, with others currently pursuing certificates in cardiology and medicine. Our nursing team is one of our greatest strengths, featuring highly skilled professionals with Schedule 3 training, imaging expertise, and postgraduate certificates. Additionally, our team includes a Hydrotherapist, a Physiotherapist, and 12 Client Care Advisers.
Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities boast a CT scanner and, more recently, expanded services to include MRI, Hydrotherapy, and Physiotherapy rehabilitation.
We provide gold-standard inpatient care, first-opinion small animal services, and a range of specialist outpatient services. These include emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, CT/MRI imaging, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and laser therapy.

Our dedicated night team means there’s no out-of-hours (OOH) work, although we do have an on-call rota, which typically involves 3-4 instances per year, ensuring a fantastic work-life balance.

What we're looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants:
Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university
Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets
Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively
Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine
