HFG is delighted to be working with an established insurance company who are looking to add a Financial Accountant to their already strong finance team. One of the main aspects of this role will be Lloyd's returns so if that is something you have experience doing this could be the role for you! In this role you will be reporting into the finance manager. Key Duties & Responsibilites: Working closely with the Finance Manager preparing and producing financial returns for a high level of deliverables. Preparation of audit files for management reviews and external auditors, maintaining a professional relationship. Preparation of all regulatory reporting outputs for the syndicates, including QMA, QMB, QSR, SII, QF1/AF1 reporting. Keeping up with all technical aspects affecting the production of syndicate returns. UK GAAP reporting and new bridge between IFRS17 reporting for Head office. General Skills & Experience: Qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA and equivalent experience in the Lloyd's market is required. Technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS). Experience with live syndicates is required.
