We are considering candidates based in Poole, Berlin, or Remote (UK or EU). Role Overview As part of our Regulatory Compliance Team, you will be the key regulatory support for the EU market. You will manage our ingredients database in accordance with the EU Cosmetic Regulation & the CosIng database, and be responsible for the management of our translation database together with colleagues from other markets. Furthermore, working in conjunction with the Product Support Team, you will provide information and regulate the information flow between manufacturing and retail, ensuring that all markets have the most up to date & correct information on product QI (Till system, Website, Artwork, Customer Care). The Regulatory Compliance Team ensures we can manufacture and sell our wide range of products worldwide, in compliance with local regulations, without compromising our ethics. The team works to mitigate risk and enact proactive solutions to regulatory issues in line with the wider ethics and goals of the business, through awareness of current and future regulatory requirements and stakeholder engagement. It's an essential stream of behind-the-scenes work that gets our products into bathrooms all over the world. Who the role reports to:

Key Responsibilities Reviewing and creating/translating existing QI and INCI declarations across all touchpoints. Review and translation of basic product data according to Regulation (EU) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products and LUSH internal guidelines. Chain of custody for all changes and new launches: Ensuring all changes are tracked and implemented with appropriate traceability all the way to the customers' hands. Communication with the retail, marketing, PR and customer service departments across our EU markets. Continuously update and maintain our INCI database and communicate all changes in-house with the retail, PR, customer service, brand team, artwork, and copywriters departments. Coordination of the transfer of INCI data into our internal systems (Till system, web shop) for all supplied markets, ensuring proper implementation. Creation and maintenance of a change log, for tracking all changes related to the Master QI. Monitoring, interpretation and implementation of relevant regulatory developments to ensure compliance. Preparation of guidelines and internal instructions on relevant regulation. Documentation of legal claims and coordination with the market management and central Regulatory Compliance team to settle any disputes. Support the Regulatory Compliance Team with other ad-hoc compliance matters, acting as the coordinator between the team and different EU markets. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise A brand ambassador who communicates our values. Organised and analytical, with high level attention to detail. Appetite for learning and upskilling, including researching regulatory updates. Not afraid of stepping outside of your comfort zone. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with affected stakeholders. Ability to work independently as required. Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English (Level C1). Confident to manage large databases in Excel / Google Sheets. Knowledge of marketing authorisation relevant regulations, standards and guidelines is an advantage (CosIng database, Regulation (EU) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products).
