For a Regulatory Defence Solicitor to join a team which offers a broad range of expert advice to organisations and individuals facing Health & Safety, criminal, environmental, CQC and other regulatory prosecutions.
The department also advises individuals facing possible criminal and professional regulatory sanctions, as well as individuals and organisations requiring advice and representation at inquests.
This role will primarily focus on health and safety and transport regulatory matters, with clients including some of the largest companies operating within the transport and logistics sector.
THE CANDIDATE
With 2-5 pqe, you will ideally have experience in Health & Safety and ideally Transport Regulatory.
You will be looking to join a busy team, in a new role created due to an influx of work in these areas.
Your experience should include:
Providing health and safety advice to corporates and individuals on an ongoing basis.
Undertaking training exercises for clients on health and safety topics.
Completing compliance reviews on health and safety.
Conducting internal investigations for clients following a health and safety incident / near miss.
Representing clients during external investigations by the police/HSE local authority including responding to interviews under caution and s.20 requests.
Representing clients that have been prosecuted for health and safety, food safety and fire safety matters.
