Regulatory Reporting Officer

We are currently representing a prestigious client in the Banking sector who is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Officer. This role is integral to managing the timely submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns to the PRA and overseeing the regulatory reporting software. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regulatory Reporting Accountant and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the regulatory reporting department. Day-to-day of the role:

Prepare and ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly ALMM returns, LCR, and PRA 110 to regulators. Handle the preparation of quarterly returns, including FSA017 and PRA 108. Manage updates to the WIRES system, including the production of CAB required by IT. Assist with ongoing system, process, and control improvements. Liaise with various business lines such as IT, Operations, Private Banking, Structured Property Finance, Treasury, and Risk functions as required. Provide cover for the Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer and Regulatory Reporting Accountant when needed. Assist in preparing the quarterly Corep returns and the Pillar 3 document. Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the CFO, Chief Accountant, and the Regulatory Accountant. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in regulatory reporting with knowledge of capital, liquidity, and COREP, having had responsibility for preparing and submitting regulatory reports in a UK bank. Highly proficient in Excel, capable of handling large data sets and competent in using macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and conditional formatting. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within financial services. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to set priorities.
