We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our team based in Alderley Edge. As the Regulatory Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of regulatory returns (including those under Solvency II) submitted to our various regulators and support the compilation of our Solvency and Financial Condition and Climate (TCFD) reports published annually on our website.

You will play a crucial role in providing financial information to external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy in our regulatory reporting processes.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join the award-winning Financial & Regulatory Reporting team. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Actuarial and the wider business to ensure the accurate provision of external reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries, contributing to maintaining the financial resilience of Royal London.

In joining the Financial & Regulatory Reporting team, you will become part of a team of technically skilled and experienced accountants and develop your financial reporting skillset in a challenging and dynamic environment.

About the role Compiling Royal London's Single Group Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR) published annually on the Group's website. Preparing quarterly and annual Solvency II regulatory reporting templates for the Royal London Mutual Insurance Society and our Irish subsidiary, RLI DAC, for submission to our UK and Irish regulators. Supporting the co-ordination, verification, and execution of the Group's climate (TCFD) reporting. Preparing reports to the Board and its Committees to support the review and approval of regulatory reports. Continually reviewing and challenging reporting processes to identify efficiencies and control improvements. About you

Qualified accountant with experience of Solvency II and/or other regulatory reporting ideal but not essential. Good understanding of UK GAAP and ideally insurance accounting principles, systems, and procedures. Interest in or experience of sustainability reporting. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate own and other's work. Proven ability to manage and prioritise workload, including managing flow of critical inputs from other stakeholders. About Royal London
