Overview:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reinstatement Manager to join their team. This role involves supporting contract operational teams by managing various aspects of highway reinstatement across multiple utilities contracts. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with technical, quality, environmental, safety, and SLG standards. Key Responsibilities: Support the business at stakeholder meetings. Manage supply chain compliance across multiple contracts. Oversee the reinstatement technical process for operational contracts. Inspect and manage defects raised by local authorities, clients, and internal teams. Coach and train operational teams to ensure specification compliance and continuous improvement. Manage the internal coring programme and review coring reports. Collate and review audit performance reports. Maintain effective relationships with Street Authority Inspectors and material suppliers. Explore and implement innovative techniques, materials, and equipment. Promote recycling and environmentally friendly practices. Conduct robust auditing of highway work through regular inspections. Efficiently manage the hire and off-hire of plant equipment, resolving issues to minimise productivity impact. Provide technical support to back-office staff. Assist with customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution in line with contractual requirements. Plan or assist in planning daily duties for reinstatement teams. Participate in on-call duties. Key Skills and Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004. Familiarity with the Health & Safety at Work Act. Working knowledge of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways. Understanding of reinstatement best practices and materials testing. Experience in delivering coring programmes. Proven ability to manage relationships with council and Street Works Authority staff. Knowledge of recycling practices involving excavated and imported materials. 2 Day SSSTS and NRSWA Supervisor qualifications are preferable. Previous experience in managing both direct and subcontract teams. Organised and methodical approach to work. Application Process:
